Yay another .5 mile!

Since my surgery and the cold weather we haven’t gotten to do a lot biking. But a break in the chill creates a brief opportunity to visit the Greenway. Jim gave Kaelin the go ahead to be the leader today. And of course where does he head us – the playground. The best part of…

Change is in the Air

Some changes are in the making. First, Jim is going to sell Hot Dot. However, never fear, sailing is still in our future. (I’m so relieved, I do truly love it.) He has suggested we buy a smaller sailboat, one we can take out more frequently. His thoughts are we could go day sailing at…

Little Biker

Long Key State Park

We arrived at Long Key State Park mid afternoon on Tuesday.  Today is Friday and I’m wishing I never had to leave this park.  It is truly amazing.  Our camper butts right up to the water.  The water  is shallow for yards and yards out.  It is warm and clear and underneath is a world…

A Camping We Will Go

Haircuts done.  Shopping done and then some.camper packed. fridge emptied.  Watering system for plants set up.  Lights on timer.  Parents visited.  Daughter visited.  About to go to bed.  Why all this nonsense?  Because tomorrow we begin our real vacation,  a much needed vacation.   Tomorrow we head for a one night stay at Jonathan Dickinson…
