Hidden Gem in Waynesboro TN

Needed an overnight spot. Walmart and Cracker Barrel failed us so we kept on going until we accidentally found this place. Waynesboro City Park RV in Tennessee. It’s super small, only 4 spots but it’s full hookup and only $15. Very pretty with a lovely creek and river next to it, treed hills on the camp side. Park staff came out to collect our fee and they go by often. Park staff told us the locked bath house is brand new. We didn’t need it but it’s just one more positive of this park. We felt safe and it was quiet during the night. There is a city pool, water slides, tennis court and walking trail.
We ended up doing two nights and will definitely put this on our “to return” list.

The temperatures are definitely Chasing Seventies perfect.
Lovely walking trail.
This lady was looking for geodes in the creek. It was a pleasure to chat with her and she even shared one of her finds.
This long site is actually two sites in one. I didn’t photograph the one in front of us due to privacy. Plenty of room.
Bandstand will be busy tomorrow. Unfortunately we will be moving on.

Big playground. We love that this park seems to be loved by the locals. So many parks are unused and fall into disrepair

Can’t say enough about how nice this park is.
